Brent Brown, Director of Retail Solutions & Strategy for HP’s WW Enterprise Services Team spanning the entire HP portfolio, is responsible for the creation and development of retail solutions and services for all major retailer market segments. As a 25-year Retail veteran, Brent’s responsibilities include developing program initiative(s) and the deployment within North America and other global geographies (EMEA and APAC). Other areas of focus include partnerships with third party hardware and software vendors, professional service organizations, systems integrators with an overall emphasis on product and services demand generation.
Brian Kilcourse is recognized as one of the top retail technology leaders in the United States. He is a managing partner at Retail Systems Research LLC (“RSR Research”), a company focused on delivering research, strategies, and knowledge for the extended retail industry. Formerly President and Chief Executive of Retail Systems Alert Group (RSAG), Brian is a recognized leader in retail technology practices. He has authored research reports on Cross-Channel Retailing, Supply Chain, Customer Data Security, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Mobility, IT Governance, Workforce Management, Services Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Software as a Service (SaaS). Previously, Brian was SVP and CIO at Longs Drug Stores from 1993-2002.One of the top retail CIOs in the United States during his tenure there, he was named one of the Premier 100 IT Leaders by Computerworld magazine and by Information Week as leader of the #1 retail IT shop in 2001.
Tim Hood is Global Vice President of Strategic Technologies, Chief Solution Architect for Retail at SAP. He has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry. Tim held leadership roles in development, architecture and product management organizations during his career. Since 1999, Tim has been focused on providing innovative solutions to the retail industry. Tim is the solution management lead for strategic technologies in the retail industry including In-Memory technology, analytics, mobility, and cloud platforms. Aligned with the strategic technology platforms, Tim is also responsible for ISV partnerships in retail. Tim has been active in the retail industry, including working with NRF-ARTS since 2001, joining SAP in 2006 through the acquisition of Triversity, where he was the lead of the product development organization.
