Two business process management groups have developed an assessment tool to measure organizations’ cultural fitness for change.
In addition to technological and methodical solutions, an effective business process management (BPM) strategy also requires the right organizational culture. To make this factor easier to measure, two BPM groups at the University of Liechtenstein and the Queensland University of Technology developed a culture assessment tool. The tool is based on several studies that were conducted over three years of research, involving BPM thought leaders and practitioners worldwide.
The assessment can be complete in only 15 minutes. At the end, test-takers get an instant, individualized report of their organization’s cultural fitness for BPM. The key points in the analysis are visualized in a spider diagram. More detailed findings are provided in a personal report.
The culture assessment tool is available here.
